This ELIM 3G-Sdi time domain multiplexer offers transport of synchronous or asynchronous Sd-/hd-Sdi signals over an 3G-Sdi infrastructure. The 3G-Sdi TdM signal is a fully compliant SMPTe 1080p level B signal stream. The card can be configured to multiplex two hd-Sdi signals into one 3G-Sdi, or four Sd-Sdi and one hd-Sdi signals into 3G-Sdi. By combining these new modules with the existing Sdi-Td-MUX/Sdi-Td-dMUX, one can transport eight Sd-Sdi signals over one 3G-Sdi link.

Introduction

This product, as a device which converts the HD-SDI signals and MIC's one-way one channel voice signal(PRE-AMP output), one Channel between the control keyboard and the receiver box, and the two-way network Ethernet signal into the optical signal, transmits one signal to the one core of an optical cable.
It transmits the high quality 720p ~ 1080i(TV) of resolution.

As a WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) system using the optical Properties, having no influence from the magnetic and electric field, it is capable of a long-distance transmission without repeaters.

Configuration

The optical transmission device, as an essential device used to convert the transmission channel of the high-frequency coaxial cable to the optical cable, converts(TX) the input electric signal into the optic cable, and converts the optic cable into the electric signal in the receiver.
